My creative space...

Although 'My Creative Space' over at Kootoyoo hasn't officially started back up again for the new year, I thought I'd show you what I've been working on anyway!

Lots of delicious stones...

...some sketching of new ideas...

...plus a little *sketching* on the computer ;-)

...and lots of luscious silver...

There is a distinct lack of beads to be found on my workbench these days.

I think I've been seduced by silver and stone!

I'm slightly obsessed with Moroccan doors and doorways at the moment.  Aren't they just inspiring!

Expect to see lots of these gorgeous shapes popping up in my work soon!

I hope that the new year is being kind to you so far.

Is your Muse still on holiday, or is she inspiring you with new ideas?

  9. Aren't the stones delicious, Wendy! I can barely wait to create special jewellery with them :-) In fact, as soon as I pulled one of the turquoise stones out of its packaging, I immediately got to sketching a design for it! LOL

Thank you so much, Karin! :-)

Jana, I find Moroccan style infinitely inspiring...my Moroccan Odyssey Collection could be a never-ending project at the rate I'm going!

Kirsty, Moroccan doors are just so darn cool. Why don't we have doors like this in Australia??? Or everywhere, for that matter. They are GORGEOUS!

Thank you, Anna...I hope to have some new pieces to show very soon! ;-)

Thanks Ivy :-) My sketching leaves a lot to be desired most of the time! LOL These ones were reasonable enough to post on my blog though. The first sketch is being translated to silver and stone right now! ;-)

Oh yes Brandi, it is easy to become obsessed with doorways and arches. Something about the shapes and textures just drive my Muse crazy with ideas!

Thank you Heroilda, you're too kind!
